Meet Skismic Cat
He’s colourful, curious and a little unpredictable. Show him anything and he’ll probably find another use for it after biting and licking it.
A chair can become a lookout. A quiet street can turn into an expedition. A handful of colours can spark a nice little dream.
Skismic Cat simply looks at things in his own way.
He likes colour. Plenty of it. He likes patterns, unusual combinations and ideas that arrive without warning. He likes exploring, making things and occasionally finding himself somewhere he probably shouldn’t be.
He also likes sleeping - he is a cat after all!
A cat with a thing for colour
Skismic Cat really likes colour.
Bright purples, electric yellows, deep blues, fiery reds, candy pinks - he is drawn to them like a fish to water.
Matching a colour is not really his concern. If a colour catches his attention, that is generally enough.
For him, colour isn't simply something added at the end. It is how he looks at things - his view of the world.
Curiosity gets the better of him
Skismic Cat likes to investigate.
What’s around the corner? What’s inside that box? What happens if he climbs up there?
Not all of them lead to sensible decisions. Sometimes he climbs a tree and then remembers that he has no ladder down! That doesn’t seem to bother him particularly. A little trouble becomes part of the adventure.
Making things without a rulebook
Creating is another favourite occupation.
Skismic Cat enjoys putting colours together, experimenting with patterns and following an idea simply because he likes it. Sometimes he just likes making something because he likes how it looks.
He likes to start with an idea and see where it goes. Change something. Try something different. If it looks better, keep it.
Eventually, he sleeps
For all his energy, Skismic Cat understands the real importance of doing absolutely nothing just like humans.
After a night spent investigating, experimenting and generally involving himself in things, he will eventually find somewhere comfortable and settle down to dream.
He isn't particularly fussy.
Although the best sleeping places do, for reasons that only undersanads, tend to belong to someone else.
So, what is he like?
Skismic Cat is curious, creative and playful. He likes doing things his own way and isn't afraid of a bit of colour - he loves the night and the colourful lights.
He can also be mischievous when the mood takes him.
The easiest way to put it is this: Skismic Cat doesn't see the world in quite the usual way.
That's what makes him different.
The world of Skismic Cat
Skismic Cat sits at the centre of the Skismic world - a place built around colour, imagination and the belief that everyday things don't have to be dull.
His distinctive look appears across accessories, homeware, clothing and other objects made for everyday life.
The range might change, but the idea stays the same.
Why should something useful be boring?
Why shouldn't an everyday object make you smile?
What happens next?
Nobody really knows.
Skismic Cat doesn't have much of a plan. He follows whatever catches his attention. He might discover somewhere new, become fascinated by an unfamiliar colour or spend an afternoon making something that wasn't quite what he intended.
Then again, he may simply find a comfortable corner and go to sleep.
That's Skismic Cat.
He likes colour. He likes exploring. And there's a good chance he'll get himself into a little trouble along the way.
Welcome to the world of Skismic Cat.
